learn to use your mirrors..
IT does suck, and I was trying to open up the hood all day today with different things. I can't get any leverage to really open it up (even with a shovel). ha
My girl has a great influence on my and that helped me keep my cool.... I could see where it happened..and how she missed the car..it is a dumb mistake looking out only one mirror instead of both. I know that many people do it..... She was in her late 20's early 30's and promised me lots of drinks when she see's me around town.lol...
Again if it was me 2 years ago I would have FLIPPED out...today I just looked at it differently and could tell she was truly sorry.
maybe I should have had the wing on the car...you would have seen it easier

wtf?!? Sorry Bruce & Mitchell - I'm glad my car is tucked away safely in the garage. It's crazy out there.
That'll be one pricey wall ornament that gal has bought herself with all that cf and kevlar...

You handled yourself VERY well bruce. It's sad to see that and her insurance is going to be blown away with how much that's going to cost to fix.
At least he didn't try to hit and run like the guy that did this to my car. My buddy watched it happen and ran him down in his car and got his info for me. It was a fiasco getting him back to where it happened. I told him he had 10 minutes to get his *** back here or else I'm calling the police for a hit and run and that he'd most likely be arrested in front of his son (he was taking his kid to Karate practice). He was back in 5 minutes flat and I got a police report backing me up, just incase his insurance tried anything.
$5,286 in body work alone and another 2 grand in mechanic work (radiator, auxillary fan, core support, labor) in damage.

Now I must pray to the car gods for that comment....
Oh, and sorry Bruce. That really sucks. It's only metal though, so it can be fixed.
I know, I'll never make that mistake again.
Damn, it looks sad. I’m glad you handled yourself the right way. If it’s done it’s done. No use in getting stressed or freaking out about it. I know it’s easy to say that since it’s not my baby. I know the person who did the damage would feel bad enough. It’s as if someone messed up Vida Guerra's ***, or drew a mustache on the Mona Lisa. Just look for a good way to come out on top. Sometimes these misfortunes can lead to better things.
