Well,it was a great day. Perfect weather, great cars.

First time running with the BMW club. They put me in C group which was interesting. I spent a good part of the day stuck in traffic. Still managed some good laps. And most of the drivers were in their mirrors helping me out. (but of course there was this one guy)

I got some great data, and some good video.

Don, I have several laps behind you. Once I get it all edited, you are welcome to it. It was great fun watching and listening to your car walk/jog away from mine on the straights. Your car is SICK bro.

If anyone on here was in the C group, PM me your car info, and I'll see if I have anything for you. I was in the Black Exige.

By the way, I can' say enough about the 2-day school at Proformance. I knocked about 4 seconds off of my personal best. I don't go for lap times, but I do data log my laps. 1.1gs in the corners is just a blast!

 

.... so what kind of lap times are you seeing (noting you "don't go for lap times")?

 

I learned a couple of points from Chris Bender near the end of the day, and I'll practice again on the 21st and 22nd during the power lunch.

Christopher is Evil Twin here if you didn't know ...... he's a good one to get tips from ..... I think he turns 1:39's out there pretty consistantly.
I'll be out there on the 24th if the weather is good. If it's wet, count me out, I hate that

Who do I need to talk to, to get in on the 24th? I think it is the Alfa club right? Got a name?

I can come for the afternoon, so I'd like to talk to them about that to see if they are cool with it.

BTW, I do know Evil Twin. But I know him from the Lotus Boards, more than anything. He's the person I hold responsible for my current obsession.

I am thinking ab having a hell of a good week next week. I am signed up for the power lunch at Pacific Raceways on the 21st and 22nd. Trying to get into the Alfa day on the 24th and the Cascade Day at Portland on the 25th.

It won't be long, and I'll be sweating it out in NYC, so I "gots ta get" my track time now.

 

Bleu, it was an awesome day for sure! I am going to try and make it to the Alfa event if I get my clutch done in time.
