Here's "our" view (I say 'our' because picture 1 is from my brothers house, picture 2 is of my brothers house, but my dad lives 2 doors down! ha!). Right below Point Defiance looking at the Narrows Bridge and Gig Harbor. BBQs are definitely welcome but the parking is less than convenient.
looking southwest (gig harbor would be pan right 120 degrees):
low tide (you can see water marks where high tide reaches):

On Saturday I hope. I've got the chili, bowls and forks and a pot to heat it up in. If I end up having to eat this all myself, I'll see you all on the moon.
Sunday early (before noon) would work for me, but I don't think chili makes for a very good breakfast repast.

I am out for this weekend, I have to work on my fathers house to have it up for sale this week. Just some final items to paint and clean up the yard.
But for something later here is a good idea,
We can have a BBQ at my island house, south tip of Whidbey Island that is.. lots of great roads to do a drive then BBQ at the house after.... Here is a view
PIC 2 and 3 is the view from the master bedroom window..as you can see it is RIGHT on the water... the last pic you can see a house down on the water...my house is 2 down to the left behind the trees.. House is up for sale, but Lets do a BBQ there before it is sold

^^^Good news Larry - you can take a beautiful drive around and you don't need to take a ferry to Whidbey. Head up north and drive thru Deception Pass to Oak Harbor and head south. BEAUTIFUL! You guys have fun.

When we setup a BBQ at hte house on the Island we will schedule time to get on the island in the morning when the tide isn't low.. Larry Your car is stock still (isn't it)...it is not low compared to my car
