While down at Barrier today to get my new tire, they pulled my car up next to "my evil twin". I don't know who the car belongs to, but they had painted the top with flat black paint, very dark window tinting, black tail lights, and the list goes on. This is not my taste at all. In my opinion, this is a good example of going too far - looks too modified, not classy any more. I probably should not make any judgements - just thought it was interesting! (cell phone pic sorry)

 

That is a nice looking car. I like the flat black top.

It depends on what mod is causing the problem to the motor, not how many he has

I am just going to make a general statement (meaning not pertaining to the wht 997 w/blk top).
Just because someone has money, doesn't mean they have taste. Just more opportunities to truly go over the top!
I do prefer yours more.

 

I don't like the black top. Not in flat black at least. Is that a Techart rear bumper add on?

 

Definitely don't like the painted black roof nor the roof spoiler.

The top would look better if the top were more of a glossy black, but the matte black looks stupid. Its probably some kids grad present, lol.

I agree with mitchell, if the roof was gloss black it would look much cleaner, matte black roof with shiny white doesn't go well at all.

 

should have been gloss black! did he have the hood and others black parts to compliment to roof other than the taillights?..

 

that car looks like crap... blacked out lights and the krylon roof job...

Greta - yours looks great... have considered the all red tail lights? IMHO they would look great on your car... and they are a Potsche part so technically it is not really a mod...

 

i like greta's better. looks sporty, yet classy! although, i have to say, to each his own. nothing wrong with trying to be different or unique. that's what makes the world an interesting place! =) i think tinted tail lights look okay. but then again, who am i to talk? i have pink calipers. hehe! =P
