It's funny you mention the G1. I have an acquaintance who just moved up here and works for T-Mobile on next gen platforms, I think he works with Android. Now I know 2 people at T-Mobile... I should get a SPECIAL hookup... :-)

 

I've been hearing rumors that they are gonna have a special update coming. I love the phone, it just needs a good fine tuning. I just figured they'd release something to fix how the thing manages running applications. I have the white one, love it. I'm just being nit-picky, not frustrated. Love the company, no problems ever. When you get the phone make sure you get a bigger memory card, i've got a 16 gb

 

I am not sure what you are asking, but glad you are happy with the phone overall. I have been waiting to get one because I want the white one too and that has not been offered to employees as it has been sold out. The android operating platform is pretty amazing and evolving quickly. I can't wait to get mine - looks like it will be early February.

i just heard that there will be an update involving an onscreen keyboard and fixed bugs and what not, just was wondering if you heard anything. it's all good if you havent. Yeah i was lucky to get the white one, it was 1 of 2 they had just gotten in!

Well, not interested in a trade. Yes, want a white one - that is my non-color of everything! The G1 does have an touchscreen keyboard I thought, as well as the hidden traditional keyboard.

 

Sorry to derail but Greta do you know if tmobile is going to get any newer blackberry models in the future? The wife has a curve at the moment but wants a newer one. I pitched her the g1 sales line but for some reason she doesn't like the g1.

 

oh yes, white is the best. they might be coming with it preinstalled now, but I had to download a 3rd part app just for texting. i talked to my buddy and he said theres an update coming this quarter of 2009.

We just added the new Blackberry Flip Pearl (that is a great phone!). We are also adding the Blackberry BOLD this month I think. I think there is a new curve coming out possibly this month too.

 

Back on the original topic I've had a couple of sightings this weekend. First was a pristine White E30 M3 on I5 south just north of UW on Friday night. Was lowered on aftermarket wheels and exhaust.
Second was a black GTR stopped at 35th and 132nd in Mill Creek. First time I've seen one up here. I'd like to get a closer look at it one of these days.
