Spotted:
I saw that car on the tow truck yesterday too.....
today, I didnt see, but several co-workers came back from lunch in Mill Creek area and said..." I saw a porsche going to beat hell down Bothell Everett HWY... was that you?"
(I got asked by 3 people....)
Of course I answered, "No, but we all drive like a**holes you know, fast, dangerous law breakers.... it's a requirement"

The longest I've owned a car is 33,000 miles I think.

I was asking the GTR owner prior to tranny failure if all the stuff I have been hearing and reading is true about the warranty being... shall I say... "easily voidable" and he said "I don't know... never had anything wrong with it and I have never once used launch control"
I will be curious to run into him again and see what the outcome is... it was silver and the owner lives in Mukilteo...
I will say this -- there were 2 at the track -- the failed one and the one that did not fail... and the one that did not fail was super fast all day long... possibly the fastest car there... amongst Porsches, Loti, Caterhams, Corvettes, a Noble, M cars of all shapes and sizes etc...
You didn't mention the Viper ACR and Atom out there with you. The driver of the black GT-R is very good with that car, everywhere around the track. Makes everyone else feel slow.
Putting it on a dyno voids the warranty, and I would imagine transmission failure on a race track would fall into that. Well the GTR makes non driving fools like me drive like Lewis Hamilton so its no surprise how fast it was around the track. I have heard in the hands of a capable driver the ACR is an absolute beast on the track.
1988 "fully armoured" Chevrolet Citation
Walking in Greenlake yesterday we came across a fully armoured 88 Chevy Citation and the owner was as out there as the car was..Sorry all I had was my treo for pictures but I think they get the point across
