RS America Seats

Anyone have any seats that would be a nice fit in my 964? I think I'm going to get the race seats out and possibly throw a license plate on the thing again....

not yet

Jody I'll try to see what oem boxster seats look like and if they might fit. I'd hate for them to get dusty in a garage. I most likely will try to find oem RS America seats first

There was a guy on Craigslist selling a complete 964 interior with sports seats.

Why not drive it with the race seats?

Mark the seat rails are different from the Boxster. You should just look at getting some Recaro Profile seats from Colin. The have a low side bolster so it is easy to get in and out of, but still a good seat from the lapping days. I do know that is the only car you will take out lapping

Mainly because if your not strapped in for zero movement and ready to race it's like riding on a board. They are aluminum with a touch of black fabric for color.

Bruce I'll look into those seats but I don't like to just spend money fast. I need to research a bit. Stew a bit and than price several places and try to find the best deal. You know me

Here is what I am thinking of. They are alot easier to get in and out of than the seats that are in there, but they work great for the car.

These are the same seats that Porsche uses for the GT3 euro seat (the top of them are changed) that are in my car.

your seats are too tough to get in and out of to use your car as a driver, along with climbing over the roll cage ha-ha... but I think the cage is kick ***..so keep it!
