Went to Autox School today! 12 runs! (pics)
Hi Guys/Gals,
I just wanted to share my experience from PCA's first autox school. It went from 8 am until 4 pm with 8 runs and 4 fun runs. It was for 16 students total and it was 2 students per one instructor. We had a catered lunch along with a presentation from an instructor. The best part was that we had one on one instruction all day long with our instructor of choice. I learned a ton and I had a lot of seat time as well!
I'll be doing this again next year and would encourage anyone that wants to get into autox to sign up next year. Even for those that just want to go and get a bunch of runs in and fine tune your driving, it's a great way to do that as well!
This was the first time that I got to try out my GT3 seats and I have to say that I'm very, very happy with them! They were very comfortable and held my butt in place!
I didn't get any shots in motion on the track, but I did get a few of the cars awaiting tech check. a few of these pictures were mixed in from the last autox that i attended, so i thought i'd post them up for fun as well.
Enjoy!

great write up and thanks for sharing! looks like it must have been a ton of fun. Instruction is great but it's USELESS without seat time to learn and get feedback so that is great that you got to do so!
Very cool!

wow that was a small event. especially for only 12 runs. I guess i'm overly spoiled by SoCal.
Seat time is the best way to get good. Practice makes perfect!
Now I just need to get my 944 back on the ground.

usually for regular autox there can be between 70 and 120, etc. but this was just a school for a limited amount of students. =)
yep, mark was out there. we sat with each other for lunch. =)

Hay but I took 2nd place!
