Photoshoot: A3 with new bumper

Next will be S3 skirts and Euro LED taillights.[/quote]
Couldn't you take the S-Line badge off your original grille and put it on your new one? I think you said you were going to put a Euro style plate on the cross piece that would read "S-Line", but wouldn't it look more understated if you were to put your old painted cross piece on instead. With your "pop up" front plate you'd have it all covered.
Very funny, Larry. You're just jealous that my A3 looks cooler than yours now.
Just kidding....I did think about that but it wouldn't quite work that way. If you go look at yours, you'll see that it's attached to a "block" piece built within the grille. I've removed the "3" so that it just says "/S" which works for me. I may buy a new S-line badge and cut off just the S part and put that on.
I have the Euro "SKIFRIK" plate but I don't want to put it on until I've gotten the pop up plate installed because others have told me that having those euro plates on actually attracts more attention from the police than having nothing at all. I'll wait.
Not a bad idea getting that mudflap. You gonna do that to yours?

In my case I'm happy with the car just the way it is as long as I can get Rush Limbaugh on the radio.
What do you want him to do? Take it to some redneck welding shop and have them torch the springs, or pony up around $2 grand for coil overs to lower it 10 mm? In either case I don't think it's necessary for a daily driver.

But...It still looks like a stomper 4x4.
And there has got to be a less costly lowering alternative for daily driver duty.

I'd ride along for a free lunch to keep me trimmed up!
Let me take a different approach.
Wow looks great, don't you think it would look nice lowered a bit.
I know it is not practical, I know it is a D.D. but it would look really tight with a 20mm drop.
BTW - I too will offer my fat *** for lunch in return.
