Photoshoot: A3 with new bumper

Not wanting to neglect my newest toy, I thought I'd give her a makeover. A new front bumper.

I haven't decided if I should remove the "3" from the badge since it's not a S3.

And one of the A3 with the always blue "atomic" too.

^ +100. Car looks great, but I don't like badges on cars that don't belong.

Why not make it an s3

We've been awaiting this kit and it finally dropped into our hands today! The APR 2.0T S3 engine conversion kit takes the Audi A3 and VW MkV 2.0T cars to 320HP and 320 Lb-Ft of torque on 91 octane pump gas! This number increases to 355hp and 368 Lb-Ft of torque on 100 octane gas!

APR's engineers have gone even further by expertly recalibrating the engine management system to allow for a nearly flat torque delivery from 2500 rpm's to 5000 which results in a smooth linear pull throughout the power band.

The full kit includes the needed APR FSI fuel pump though it is available without the pump for those who may have already purchased it. This kit also includes the software so no additional software purchase is necessary to use this kit.

The APR S3 conversion kit normally retails for $4,999, we will have it on sale until March 9th for only $4,499! We're also offering discounted installation for only $699! Financing is available for local customers.

A few other components are highly recommended with this kit such as an exhaust, intake and intercooler but it's certainly possible to build your car up in stages if you wish.

Thanks everyone. I'll remove the 3 then...it's a S-line model so having just the /S will work. I just wish I can find the "line" somewhere and put that on too.

Aaron, that kit is for the 2.0T I-4 motor. I have the 3.2 V6 so it wouldn't work for me. Nice thought though.

BTW, here's a picture of the old bumper so you guys have an idea of what it looked like before. It looked like the one on the right.

And now

Next will be S3 skirts and Euro LED taillights.

Larry saw it last night and I don't think he cared much for it. He's not into asthetic mods, more into performance types.

Ah gotcha, I think I am holding out for the 2.0t quattro. Barrier should have the first one in this month.

For what it is worth. You can always talk to HPA

Here is a hpa TT kit for the 08 3.2
http://www.hpamotorsports.com/hpa_vehicles.htm
Btw that bumper looks awesome

You can order Sline badges from the dealership. barrier usually has a crap load. When the USP's came to the states the dealers would stamp the badges everywhere on the cars. I have 6 or so I pealed off mine.

I don't plan to put any power mods on this A3. She's plenty fast enough for my needs as a daily driver. Besides, after yesterday's escapade, it's pretty clear that absolute power corrupts absolutely.

And yeah, the 2.0T Quattro should be pretty sweet! I'm glad they finally came out with one for 2009.
