Not sure if most of you know, but during our Ice Cream drive, my car was very unstable. The rear end was going all over the place & not in a controlled way. Found out both rear shocks were leaking. Well they were TOAST! They would collapse just sitting on the bench!

After looking all over for options, I selected the Bilstein PSS10's. Usually I don't like Bilstein, the rebound compression is very high & gives a rough ride, you need stiffer springs to compensate. JRZ & Moton, were just not in the budget.

The PSS10's are very nice, lighter then stock, & have heavy tender springs, to give a somewhat progressive rate, so it's not jarring on smaller bumps. Set the car to setting 5 all round.

Aggressive alignment (0 toe F&R, 1.5 camber all round), corner balanced, the car is a ROCKET! Awesome feedback, awesome turn in, & I can put the power down as soon as the suspension sets! We did raise up the car a bit, & I will need to get the Carrera RS spindles & tie rods.

We did a PCS tour down to Cannon Beach, I was flying hitting every corner with aplomb! We took a wrong turn & ended up playing catch up with our group, & ended up catching the 1st group that was 30min in front of us, yea we were moving in the twisties! No bottoming out, never a unstable moment, just felt planted & composed!!!

I'm EXTATIC! My car feels AWESOME!!! I'l be @ PR soon!!

There are a couple of pics, that I'll post later, my car is SO DIRTY!

Great job now post up some pictures of that thing. I am convinced You will not get more smiles for the dollar then doing suspension work on a Porsche.

Well, looks wise, it's not such a good thing, she is sitting a little higher then with the old suspension. I did all for the performance!!!

I will, the camera is in the Mini, got to wait. Well I really want to do a trans regear & a 3.8l, I'm sure both of them will make me very happy!

Thanks, not bad for not washing it in a while, but you should see it now, the car is not black, but grey.

umm nope never noticed it doing that

I honestly cant believe at how well your car handled with the suspension the way it was. It really showed me on how a "real" car is supposed to be
Faster and better you say? WOW!

Factory 993 shocks were the worst part of that car. I've heard of them failing after 20K miles.

Well, the Monore ones were the worst, the Boge are fine. My 95 has the Boge & they are fine, while the C4S had the Monore, yes, they say 20-40kmi from them.

Thanks Bruce, it was tough to find something that would keep me happy for a while & not drop $8k on shocks.
