Santa -- you better come through...

Santa,

I had it on my list and it is still not here... I will continue holding my breath until midnight... and don't give me any bs about road conditions or you have been too busy...

Just in case you need a reminder, here is the link I sent you earlier.

Well, did Santa pull through??? I hope he made all your wishes come true.

We finally got stuck in the snow/ice today - getting out of our neighbor and we did not make it back in. Had to leave our car about a mile from home and walk. The roads are worse today than they have been since all this started - we have a foot of icy, chunky, slushy, mess that our rear wheel drive MB just cannot get through even with chains. (The pcar is safe and sound in the garage). Hopefully this will melt soon, we are ready now

Well PJ that would be a GREAT track beast but I still do not think they are worth 70K. I have not seen one up close but have spoken to a few people about them. I was looking into them for a while. The comments are always "great performer but s#ity build quality". Maybe at 35-40K I would be a bit more interested.

So I hear santa is bringing you a custom header back exhaust. I think you will just have to suffer with that.

the build largely depends on who builds it... but yes I agree that this one is over priced... but I find the M400 dead sexy...
They have issues for sure and the biggest one is resale...

headers back exhaust... Santa has nothing to do with that

I cant speak for that one specifically, but the one I sat in and looked at was amazing, great little cars. Surprisingly they were pretty comfortable too. I would still suggest you did your best to work on that price though.

Hell no I wouldn't!

Noble M400 Pros: ford engine, 3.6 to 60, nice loking, relatively simple (not a lot of computer crap), rare, not super $$$, fast and reportedly great handling etc

Noble M400 Cons: kit car stigma, resale, cooling problems (although I have read that they are easy to resolve), not the greatest interior/switch gear (although a 996 is not known for its high end interior either), did I say kit car stigma and resale?

I would love to try one out someday... but I would have a hard time spending virtually any amount of money on a "kit car".... a friend of mine in London recently sold his m400 that he was using as a daily driver... "jolly good car for its designed purpose which is not daily driving in London traffic"

Another car I would like to take a look at is a Bristol Fighter T, although I have never seen one in the USA...
linky: http://www.bristolcars.co.uk/FighterT.htm
$352,000 british pounds... not for the faint of wallet
1000 plus hp, 1000 plus lb/ft of torque... would be fun to mess around with... and itis certainly "unique" looking...
