OK, so it's short notice, but I wanted to make sure that everyone got invited. We (a few of thew NWQ guys and gals) have decided to do lunch at Yea's Wok in Newcastle. We're bringing Carson to order for us (fluent Chinese is a plus), as he's up from Eugene.

I can't make it, but Yea Wok is the best! The Won Ton soup is the best in town.

 

We live five minutes from Yeas Wok and eat there often- hope you enjoyed it, we think it is one of the best. Sorry I didn't see this earlier or we could have joined you. thanks anyway!

The Yeas live a few doors down from me in my neighborhood, and their restaurant is about 5 minutes from my house (or less in the F-bomb lol). Excellent food. Their sig dishes, for me, are the crispy shrimp with black bean sauce (or occasionally the sweet chilli sauce), General Tso's Chicken and the usual Mongolian Beef.

I need to check this forum more frequently!

 

Paul, those are some of our favorite dishes too! I am getting hungry! (Started my new years diet yesterday - that could have something to do with it).

 

LOL. It was a great time. We had six of the Audi guys and one of the Audi gals out, ordered all of those dishes and then some (just had dinner family style) and the tab after tip was under $20 a person. It's definitely something that we'll do more often as a group and I will post up on The6 with a bot more notice next time.

 

I'm down for some good chinese food. Just need more than 2 hrs notice just poiking fun of course

nope the owners are too young to have a married daughter....although they do have a daughter, shes like 9. the owner just got a white e92 m3 too maybe hell join in on future meets.
