You need a keen sense of vision to see the minor problems on a race track. he must have it to notice my Nike Id's. Almost no one does

Just don't let false security get you, it's happened to a few of my peers and funerals are not fun bro.
I think it's awesome that everyone is looking out for us youngsters. I've learned to never argue the wise.

What P-car are you gonna get?

I found this interesting? You have a contract with your parents for driving purposes? What else does it entail? I like that they've added driving schools/track days.

Wish I could have gotten a contract with my parents. If they violated it I'd take them to court haha. Too bad if I ever asked them for something like this they'd laugh at me then make me pick weeds in the yard or wax the floor.

^^ LOL. Seriously. I would never have asked my mom for anything like this. She has sacrificed everything for us. It's my goal in the next few years to make sure she is able to retire comfortably. This stupid economy is not helping in that respect!

As for the track days in the contract, very cool. Please don't tell me your parents are buying you a P-Car though? I hope I'm reading your signature right. P-Car sometime in your future, Camry for now.

^^^ You are a good son and have your priorities in the right place. I am sure she is very very proud to have you for her son. That is really nice what you write.

No they aren't paying for it, I think I am going to get a Audi A3/4 2.0t B7 they made me a deal, They will pay for half. Which is more than fair.

The contract involves.

Grades must be maintained at a C or higher, or my license is taken away. $10 a week that they are under a C.

If I get a ticket of any sort, I pay for it, and I pay the price of the ticket to the parents.

Accident at my fault, 6 months, no driving.

NO drugs, alcohol or other contraband. If found no driving until 18, and I pay for everything entitling to being busted. If by parents. $2000 Fee.

Track day once a month, If all homework isn't completed the day before, No track day.

I like this one, "Is allowed to attend any community (6S, NWQ, etc.) events if all homework is complete."

And then some more.

If I mess up really bad, they can retire comfortably.

I almost forgot, Driving High performance driving school when first car purchase is complete. I think for my HS graduating present they are going to send me to Skip barber. O.O

Dang. Wish my parents were lenient like that. I got a C+ on a progress report and they yanked me off the basketball team. Basketball team two days before we were going to okinawa for a tournament

I wouldn't let my kid ride in a car if he got a C. Your one lucky kid. C average means you could have something under that. Holy Sh$t that's like a failing grade.

I agree that you need to work to get those grades up - for your own benefit. First of all, so you can get into a good college which will allow you to get a good job, understand our world, economics, business and be able to carry on conversation in the adult world. An education will enable you to make good money so you can do fun things like you want to do when you are all grown up. Your parents also get a discount on your insurance rates if you maintain a 3.0 and above. Less time on the forums, more time doing homework my boy.
