Tonight I had a great time. Small group as I figured. H#ll I hosted a party 40 miles from King County. Who would have thunk anyone would have shown. RB, Jt, Mara, Jim, Jim, Jeremy, Bruce and myself and we couldn't have had more fun. Jeremy brought some icy beverages, Jim drove a purple truck and Bruce showed up late enough to not help with any set up

The "Devil" showed up tonight in the form of a 2 hearts. It took Me and RB out for the night so I figured I would possibly do a little excorcism on it

Had a great time, thanks for hosting this at your beautiful place.. I barely had enough toll money to get home.. BTW loved the Lambo colored chairs too..

 

We had a great time last night. Mara was a little under weather which is why she was so quiet but she held up well.

Mark:thanks for hosting, I am a little sad that you conformed and put the snacks into bowls like a "woman".Great pictures but I thought once you have an exorcism you're not supposed to take pictures or it will continue to haunt us. Damn that 2 of hearts.

Jim: you provided some good entertainment. " Oh yes this is a good one, I raise." Fold fold fold. What?! Whyd everyone fold?

Busta rib him: thanks for explaining where your screen name was derived from . Btw where did you pick that hate up from?

Jeremy: enjoyed the beer and I'm sure if we ever get together again at Mark's he will show you how to open that tricky little gate that you were stuck behind.

Jason: sorry I wasn't the greatest poker teacher you did well for your first time. I know it was hard with all the background noise of Jim constantly giving away his chips.

Bruce: good seeing you but I will never admit defeat to you. I lost to the 2 of hearts . Good job.

 

I had a great time playing poker with you guys. It was funny watching some of you guys go at it. I may not have caught everything that you guys said because Mark had the music jacked up all the way making everyone but me deaf. What especially cracked me up was when a favorite song came on, Mark turned the music up even louder and started singing along too. I thought, where's the karaoke machine!

I didn't do too badly for my first time out but there was that one hand that I had that beat Mark. I'm proud of that. After that it was all downhill for me but at least I still had some chips left when I finally quit.

Mark, thanks so much for having us over. It was a great game with plenty of "stand up and stare at the cards" moments. That 2 of Hearts had it coming.

Bruce, amazing comeback... That could have been televised. You doubled up something like 9 times? And three in a row.

Definitely had a great time, everyone. Thanks for hosting at your amazing house, Mark (aka 2 of Hearts). Bruce deserved the win after rising from the ashes being the short stack at the table. Impressive comeback.

Nice meeting some folks for the first time (Jim, RB, Mara -- "I've never heard Stairway to Heaven before" ). RB, I got the hat (not "hate" ) from a Nike store in Cannon Beach about 8 years ago). I've tried to find it again, but no go. It's my favorite poker/golf hat.

Looking forward to the next poker GTG.

 

Jeremy the problem with the gate is you have to be at least 26 to be smart enough to open it. I can understand the dilema. Pull up on black latch and pull gate towards me
