Drifting actually slows you down. You want to be able to keep moving in those corners without drifting or spinning out.

 

Hard to see a persons braking / acceleration when there are no brake lights.

 

i know..dang it! and i kept doing it on accident! then i'd have to hurry up and floor it to make up for the lost time! maybe it's my calling and i should take it up professionally. or maybe it's cuz i didn't have my pink magnets!

 

I propose a wednesday evening karting day next time, followed by dinner perhaps?

 

i wonder how long they stay open? i am game for a sunday as well.


it was fun driving next to josh! especially that "bonding" moment we had on the n. track on the far corner. okay....not so much a bonding moment...but more of a double spin out!

 

Wednesdays, fridays & saturdays they are open til dusk. The rest of the time it's til 5pm.

ya..haha...we were both trying to be first in the corner. we both spun out, ended up facing the wrong direction, gave each other a high five, and off we went!

hmm...doing on a weds evening/dusk and dinner sounds fun!

 

Oh man I thought this was a mario kart event. I was in front of the nintendo all day waiting

Missed it thanks to a surprise visit to work by a beer company president. Now I get to deal with that all day tomorrow to.

Thank God all I have to do on Friday is show up at the BBQ and drink.

 

EricR what a great event. Very much fun had by all. This type of event is what this NW crew is all about. Everyone having fun and all with no one getting hurt or doing anything crazy and putting their cars in a ditch..

Jason it took me 35 minutes to shower the dirt out of every nick and cranny on my body. I will seek revenge and you will SUFFER

You guys should have stayed. I went 4 or so more times.. the last time I went out with the owners son and two other guys. The last stint was probably 20 laps of the full course both north and south together. I guess I got my 20 bucks worth on that one.

I can't wait until the next time..I don't think I ran everyone into the dirt. I will though in the end I will
