Below is a cut and paste from the email I received from the track for those that need to confirm the requirements:

I just want to confirm with you your event scheduled for noon this Wednesday. There is nothing to bring but we do request the following:
  • Closed toed shoes
  • No shorts
  • Long sleeve shirts are preferred (or light jacket)
  • It is OK for drivers to use their own helmets but they must be full faced. We of course have our own for you to use.

damn... I wanted to rock my open faced helmet.. I love air on the face and the idea of a better view. Guess I will bring a full face.

I'm not one to wear one of their helmets. I'm going to go pick one up today. I'll drive down with you Jody. You can ride with me if you want to save the gas. That way we can take the carpool lane as well...

^^thanks james! i'll actually be riding down with todd in his car, because then i'll be headed to his work to help him with some stuff.

i can't wait to see your helmet though! get a cool one! we picked ours up at RIDE motorsports.

Normally I'd go for a nice arai helmet as they fit so nicely and are super comfortable, but I can't see spending $600 on a helmet just yet. Maybe next year when I have a bike....

I just realized something. I want to video tape this event with my helmet camera so that means i won't be able to ride down after all. Maybe...I dunno. Can't use an motorcrosss helmet while riding my motorcycle can I?
