My friend started his boys off in shifter carts at 4 or 5. He has 2 of them I think and his own small track on his property (nr N.Bend) for them to practice.

Hamilton started in karts at 5 ... so how hard can it be ?

Don't know but wouldn't be able to go anyway since I am going to the Mariners game courtesy of Caterpillar and their skybox. These invites don't come around this year as in years past so gotta take it.

why does caterpiller have a suite at safeco? Odd, very odd. I guess laying off the 20k people free'd up cash to have in towns they don't have factories

guys, work beckons and I can't make karting this Wednesday. Mark mentioned that he would like to go earlier in the morning so he can hold a special conference call from the 18th hole at Druids in the afternoon. :-D Hopefully we can get a posse going again soon.

 

Mark is a machine! Karting in the morning then golfing in the afternoon! Well, he's not the one that gets blisters like some of us do. Mornings would actually work better for me as well.

 

i'm not 100% sure i can make karting this week. i've got to play it by ear
