Car and or Motorsports books

I need a new book. What are your favorite car related books?

Mine:
1) The Unfair Advantage - Mark Donohue
2) The Mechanic's Tale: Life in the Pit-Lanes of Formula One
3) Alex Zanardi - My Sweetest Victory
4) The Art of Racing in the Rain - Garth Stein
5) Ayrton Senna: As time goes by - Christopher Hilton
6) Ayrton Senna: The Whole Story - Christopher Hilton
7) The Driver - Alex Roy
8) Death Race: The 1955 LeMans - Mark Kahn

There are many more but this should get the discussion started.

Any suggestions of what I should buy next?

EFranzen is on a distinguished road
I'm not sure if it's still in print or not, but Into the Red: 22 Classic Cars That Shaped a Century of Motor Sport by Nick Mason (drummer for Pink Floyd). It's a coffee table book that details 22 cars from Mason's collection that he felt had a large impact on motor sports history. It talks about the vehicles as well as the driving experience on the race track. It even includes an audio CD. The photographs are also exquisite. I ordered mine from Amazon UK a few years ago.

The list of vehicles covered in the book are:

1901 Panhard B1
1927 Bugatti T35B
1931 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300
1935 Aston Martin Ulster
1936 ERA B Type
1949 Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica
1953 BRM V16 Mk 2
1955 Jaguar D-Type
1957 Maserati 250F
1959 Maserati T61
1961 Lotus 18
1962 Ferrari 250GTO
1970 Ferrari 512S
1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona
1978 Porsche 935 K3
1978 Ferrari 312T3
1979 Ferrari 512 BBLM
1979 Lola T297
1983 Tyrrell 011
1989 Ferrari F40
1990 Porsche 962
1995 McLaren F1 GTR

"The gilded Porsche"
"Art of racing in the rain"

I have a few more, but these are good easy reading.

Or Margaret Thatcher...

I would say that Nick Mason's book is a good call. That guy has to be one of the most dedicated car guys in the music biz. Shame he's never on "MTV Cribs"...
