New RS6 flat bottom steering wheel in my pseudo S3

Well, this is something I've wanted to do for a while especially after I got the S3 bumper kit. I still wanted to go one step further by getting the S3 steering wheel with the silver stitching. I set out to get this wheel but when I found the RS6 wheel, it looked even sexier so I definitely wanted it! It took me a while to get mainly because I had to first find someone to get it and then find an airbag to go with it. I had no idea that there were so many variations of the same airbag but I had to make sure to get the right one. In the end, it took me nearly 2 months to get the wheel but I think it's well worth it! I love the way it looks and feels in my "pseudo-S3." A few notes, Audi for some reason does not include the airbag screw covers with steering wheel orders so 2 of those has to be ordered separately. And I also got the S-line badge to replace the RS6 badge too. Yes, all the buttons, paddles and lights work fine.

The old steering wheel

Right after it was installed

Looks great with all function buttons and lights including the DSG paddles.

My "pseudo-S3"

I have a few more S3 parts coming and then I'll be all done. Famous last words, I know. The other question would be, how long will it take before my "car twin" decides that he wants to copy me.

That's a nice steering wheel! Do you have the 2.0T or the 3.2? If you have the 2.0T, PES can ECU-tune it up by 40 hp

Looks great Jason. You always find a very tasteful way to modify your cars.

That is so very cool Jason. Where did you get the wheel and who did the install? If you can, PM me about it. I have always wanted to install a flat bottomed Euro RS4 steering wheel in my car but I haven't seen many available.

Or I could always vaccum mine. I haven't done that since I got it! I could aways swap it out to the carpeted version and it'd look better.

I realized that my home address was showing on the nav! The last thing I'd want you guys to do is to raid my pad. As for why I put it in, I wanted to see how long it'd take to get home from a recent road trip.

No brothel, sorry, David.
