GoPro Motorsports cam experience?

I'm having an issue with my recently purchased GoPro Hero Motorsports camera. Short of it is that when mounted to my car I get static pretty much constantly. Does anyone have one of these or any experience with them? Any tips or even other resources would be greatly appreciated! Here's a video from today with several clips showing the issue.

I have this camera too..it isn't the greatest for capturing audio. It's not really designed for that.

I ended up with a VHoldR ContourHD cam. Have not had a chance to really test it out yet, but so far it's been pretty nice. I'll slap it on the helmet and go for a quick drive tomorrow.

I emailed GoPro last night about this and woke up to an email asking for a short clip for them to review. That's promising.

I think they sound pretty cool when mounted outside the car, personally, and have never heard the static you have. Have you tried that?
