BMW Concours Pics

There was a good showing today at the Concours in Renton. The featured series was the E46. But my eyes were seduced by the older women in the crowd, namely the Inka Orange '02 and the M1. Enjoy.

My friend Mauricio tagged along. He's a Porsche guy and registered his displeaure at all the BMWs.

Pristine Inka Orange 2002tii

Matt brought the halo car from the MunichEvolution collection. This M1 was owned by the former Prime Minister of Qatar. Hi fitted an authentic Procar body kit, high-end stereo system (for the time), custom interior, and bespoke BBS wheels. Looked wicked in person and only 150 Large.

Here's my E30 sporting some new classic mesh wheels with Nogaro silver centers. The old girl still looks pretty good.

It was already hot by noon. My best friend of the day.

Featured Series: E46

Rare Estoril E46

Rest of the bunch

Thanks for sharing these pictures, Jim. I think this was the first year that I actually wasn't able to make it to the Concours.

Doesn't look like there were as many cars attending as in previous years. Perhaps the hot weather had something to do with it.
