Somehow I have a feeling if he knew he was being videotaped and would become an internet celebrity overnight, he might have tried a little harder to stay on the road..lol

Looks like he just ran straight into the lake. Rumor had it that the driver was distracted by a bird.

I cant believe someone got that on film. Yes, each Veyron out there probably has some sort of camera or film device on them at all times but...yikes. BIG SPLASH! Air bags probably didnt go off but probably felt like hitting a brick wall.

I saw no "bird" in the video.

He'll likely have a fight on his hands with his insurance company - and by the looks of it - rightfully so. #fail

what a tool....and other forums truly think it was just an accident. LMAO. He left the damn engine running in Salt Water for the 15 minutes it would just to make sure it got totaled. His Insurance should just walk away and say see ya later.....Unfortunately some bank probably owns 3/4's of the damn thing and in the end Our Bailout money will get hit by another F'n Scam...

It's rappent in Florida I've heard stories of MANY large boats that were just cut free from the slips to float away for insurance money because most Floridian's live beyond there means. It's just BS.

Actually, in Florida boat repossession has become so widespread that there is nowhere left to store all the repo'ed boats. It's become very common that lienholders will repossess a boat and then ask the owner to store it at their house. LOL

This stuff makes me sick to my stomach because people can't afford what they buy yet decide that if it doesn't work out they will walk away not caring what they are doing to the economy.

I agree. But you have to definitely put some blame on the people who lend money to these people in the first place. Either way, it's a lose-lose situation for the rest of us.

Hey now not all banks are idiots. If it wasn't for my generous banker loaning me my 1st business loan I wouldn't be where I am today. Besides who would finance a Veyron anyway.
