FYI...The suspected cop killer, Clemmons, was shot and killed by a Seattle PD patrol officer just after 2:30 am this morning. Now it is time to prosecute the family and friends that were trying to help him escape.

I under stand the oops clause but when you have DNA evidence, several witness statements, and confessions there is no need to keep someone alive. A gallow and a noose will solve it in a very economical way. The Iraqis managed to hang all those people and theyre economy is far worse than ours.

As far as the financial stand point it really depends on the situation. I have a buddy that has been in corrections for a while and he has told me a few things. If for some reason an inmate is hurt or gets injured and the root cause is because of the guard force whether it be direct physical force, abuse, or negligence the State will opt to give HUGE financial settlements to the families of that inmate just to eliminate that possibility of a court date. He has told me that this has happened a lot on very minor issues but once it reported up by the inmate and investigations are launched it is out of their hands. These people in the system know what to do and how to work the system. In my honest opinion a person that has been convicted without a shadow of a doubt should be 6 ft deep, not getting free college, free meals, and sharing his criminal techniques with other people that are locked up. Once again thats my personal opinion and if those people that were on triple life sentences were taken out back our State/Country would have a lot more money than they'd expected.

one 2 buck bullet

seems to me we need 3-7 more 2 buck bullets and possibly.....just possibly........this won't happen again for a while.

I'll start by donating 10 bucks for the next 5 bullets needed for his partners

No need to donate. I've got some good bullets here at the house. I'm happy to engrave them with special messages. Ah, the memories of hunting bad guys.

I'm glad we got this guy. I've heard conflicting stories all day.

I just can't believe what a POS this guy was, and the fact that he was out on bail to kill 4 people.

What was his alleged crime?
He raped a 12 year old kid.

There is no punishment "cruel or unusual" enough for someone like that.
