"Raising the Bar" Audi R8 Clearbra style

This beautiful new Audi R8 V10 came into our shop last week for a Venture Shield clear mask. He has always loved our paint protection film installations, but this time we wrapped the entire car. Every painted surface on the car was wrapped for a completely seamless installation. Needless to say our customer was extremely excited to pick up his car, snowtires are next, and he's ready for winter. Here are a couple of pics when the car first came in.

As you can see here, Benjamin installs the lower fender, and rear spoiler, he takes every precaution to cut the film away from the paint. These pieces will all be wrapped around the edges when dry.

Here you will see the installation of the rear bumper, which was extremely difficult, but we got the film to go all the way to the bottom, and also wrap around the edges on the wheel wells to prevent chipping from debris getting kicked up by rear tires. You will also see the hood is being fully wrapped, all seams around are wrapped. The roof is wrapped with one single piece of film, covering the a and c pillars as well. The quarter panel is also wrapped around all edges. Completely invisible.

Benjamin is cutting the film off the car seen here, and also prevents cutting on the paint. You will also see the progress of the door film installation, as you can see we had to remove the mirrors, this allowed us to have a seamless installation with the film underneath the mirror assembly.

Here it is, the finished product. Every panel is wrapped, from top to bottom, rocker panel to roof, bumper to bumper. Completely protected! The owner decided to keep the car de-badged, it looks even better now. If you look on Venture Shield's website, you will see that we are the only 4 star rated installers in Washington state. Thanks for looking.

I saw this particular R8 in the shop when it was being worked on and I must say that it's very impressive work that BJ did. Just mind blowing how much attention to detail BJ puts in ensuring a perfect installation.

Do you have to cut around the sensors on the rear bumper, or can you leave them covered with the clear film? Wonder if that affects the back up sensors at all?

On this car Benjamin did cut around the sensors, he has hands of a surgeon. Not only Monks can make freehand circles

I know he was thinking about putting a small piece on a car for trial, but for now we do cut them.

Kudos to Ben and John for their very impressive work. I had recently purchased a 964 RS America that had been mothballed for many years, with decade old 3M on the front. They restored the car and the paint looks new, and new Ventureshield looks flawless. It's a 1993 car without standard cutout templates, so Ben did all the shaping of the film by hand with razors. I don't have pics, but I believe John does.

Roman did you make them wrap the wheels and the interiors on your precious?
