Photoshoot: Toys at Porsche Dealership including Mark's CGT

So the other day I was at the local Porsche dealership and I came across a lot of "toys" ranging from the new 2010 Turbo, Panamera Turbos and H20skier's own very well driven/dirty Carrera GT.

Nice pics! I took a close look at a 2010 Turbo last week. Some subtle differences...REALLY love the LED fogs.

Any idea why they had that one torn apart? Someone modding already?

He was having the laser diffuser/radar detector installed and I think a few other things done too. Snow tires were also being installed along with the clear bra too.

2 ways to tell that a Porsche is Mark's:

1. It's dirty (which means he drives it)
2. It has a Good To Go sticker on the windshield

Probably didn't see that CGT because he dropped it off yesterday.

That poor black CGT is screaming for a detailer. Really is a wrong color for that owner.

I was down at EVOMS on Tuesday and I got to see Todd Z. datalogging his new 3.8 997 TT to create a base file. In stock form, it was putting out quite a bit more power than Porsche claims. I recall seeing several pulls at around 500 whp.

That's Alex Raphael of MaxRPM in the pic, helping Todd get it done.

I thought I saw a 16yo driving a CGT thru their auto car wash with the top down.

Roman, numbers from the Dynojet are usually very uplifting.

LOL Vince....EVOMS dyno is a all wheel drive mustang! Eitherway...you will see higher numbers on hub dyno's than dynojets.

Roman..hows your car comming along? We should have some fast cars in our group this summer with you and vince joining in.

Mine should be running next week.

Jag we always have fast cars in the Group........We also always have 4 or 5 always in the shop getting 3 year tunes

We will only believe these things are fast when they make a 500 mile round tripper for some ICEE's this summer

I predict Roman and Vince's to be done just in time to put the car covers on for the Fall season

Mark,

I know we have fast cars in our group and that not the way I meant it. I know my car has spent at least 12 months between the last 3 years at Alex's shop. But if things are done right, I dont plan on it ever going back for more than a tune up. Im gonna have a pump file, so Im ready for the ICEE's this summer. I was ready this year in my 55 but it didnt happen.

Jag
