to tint or not to tint?
Aww Liggy. You don't look a day over 20.
i had the same issue, what worked for me was doing 50% up front and 35% in the back on a audi S5 silver. looks great give some added privacy, heats reduction, and almost no change for night driving. ill post a picture when i have a change tomorrow
I had 35% on my last 3 cars. What I find is that if your interior is light, the 35% looks too light. So now on my latest car with a light interior I went 20% and it looks like 35% on a dark interior car. I also find no difference in seeing out of 20% vs 35% at night.
I used to be one of those anti-tint type but I started to fall in love with tint when my Cayenne came with the limo tint. I have no problem at night time except the rear view in rainy days.
I would definitely do 35% tint next time when I replace my daily beater bmw.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the tint look. No issues seeing at night even with 20% all around. The one thing with metallic tint is that it can interfere with your rear radar detector effectiveness.
thanks everyone for your input. in case you're curious, i've decided to go with 35% tint. scheduled to go on next weekend at accutint in bellevue.
i'm excited to see how the car will look with darkened windows.

Is it possible to get a 50% tint or is 35% the lightest? I'd like a bit of anonymity, but I don't want to make my view from inside any darker.
Are the reflecting films any good? I've only seen really gross ones on beater hondas, but I think a tiny bit of reflection might do the trick.
