Well E@RTC enthusiasts, it's looking like we're on for Exotics at RTC at this point. There is a weather system moving through Friday night, but we should be in decent shape by the time E@RTC starts. Stay tuned for any last minute changes. We will post something here and in the usual other places as we get a little closer, but so far, it looks like we're on.

We had a record number of cars last time and if the weather is nice, we expect a similar turnout as word continues to spread. We will again have all three lots.

 

Your website has a Purple bar at the bottom saying that it is cancelled this week?

Yes - that is exotic enough in my opinion! Not only 400 were built, but very few have made it into America. I assume this is Mark S. car?

 

Out of the 400 total, 200 with the small block, yes I think you are correct to say that very very few made it to the US. I don't know who Mark S is, this car belongs to Jeff. He also has a Big Block Falcon Cobra that I believe is on of 30 produced with a track homologomation (sp?).
If you were at the UW Red Square show he brought out his 1976 Holden Monaro LE, the only one outside of Australia.

 

We do our best to get everyone in who wants to show off something. We blur the line regarding what is and isn't 'exotic' as there is no firm line. What's not allowed are people who come in with a bad attitude about their car relative to everyone else- such as who's more "exotic" than the next guy, etc. That's not at all what we're about and bad attitudes are never welcome. We're an event with a theme. The theme happens to be exotics, we don't try and define it any more than that. We get some antiques, classics, occasional modded cars (if they behave- as we have the most trouble with that category) and just about everything else. We avoid turning anything away and try and group according to category and we mix up the lots so there is no 'preferred' lot, there is no spot that's better than anywhere else, we're just car people who like to get together and talk cars. We've added more space so we can include more cars, but we will always lean towards exotics as our primary focal point as we never ever want to run into the same problems they have at Cars and Coffee Irvine.

 

I'm going to actually detail the car tomorrow so hopefully the weather is nice Saturday morning.

Tommy if you're really nice I may even let you feel what a REAL exotic feels like...
