Thank you Todd Zuccone/EVOMS & MAXRPM Motorsports! ~pictures
I just wanted to share my pictures with you guys from the Porsche Club autocross that I raced in yesterday.
With that being said, I wanted to give my special thanks to Todd Zuccone and the EVOMS crew along with Alex Raphael with MAXRPM Motorsports for tuning my car!
Everything was installed within the last two months, but I hadn't had a chance to play with the new mods in order to see how she performs. Needless to say, I am truly amazed!
I was lucky enough to have the man himself, Todd Zuccone, install the newest, lastest EVOMSit flash in my Boxster while they were here for the EVOMS/Gumpert Racing summer tour. Alex Raphael then installed the EVOMS v-flow intake at his shop a couple of weeks later. Let me tell you guys...she sounds soo good! There is more throttle response, and the nice tune she now sings to me when I hit those sweet spots at 5 and 6K RPM is music to my ears.
Yesterday at Autocross, I ran the morning course. The track was wet and very slick. Needless to say, I did a beautiful 360 which I did not recover gracefully from. LOL! Nevertheless, it was pretty dang fun and i'm sure very humerous to watch. The difference from a dead stop to get up to speed is quite liberating! It's quite a compliment when friends that have been in my car while she ran stock now say "Whoa! what did you have done to this thing?? Did you get a new exhaust system?". And one of the PCA instructors compared my regular Boxster to a Boxster S that he had driven and said mine performed better! I was tickled pink! WOOT! WOOT!
Anyway, sorry for the long winded post but I really wanted to give these guys my heart felt thanks and gratitude for their amazing products and service. These pros are topnotch and amazing at what they do. You gotta love the shops that are active in the car community.
So Todd, Alex, Matthew, Parvin, and the rest of my friends at EVOMS and MAXRPM, Boxstergirlie appreciates you and thanks you for everything. You're all amazing gentleman! I'm THRILLED with my new toys and could not be happier with her performance!
I can't wait to get out there and race some more next year and share my pride about you with other enthusiasts!

My friend and driving instructor wanted to take my car for a spin in the track! We had some good laughs out there!

We even got my Todd out there! He's very impressed with my car now! We raced in the same class and both tied each other. Nobody slept in the doghouse last night! LOL!

And a recent car show I was in. Gotta love that MAXRPM in pink!

Hahah!!! Too funny!! Even my instructor drove my car for a couple of runs and did a full 360 in it on the first corner. At least I didn't accidently hit the windshield wipers and honk the horn!! LOL! I paid off one of the college kids to do my work assignment (chasing cones) and I left after my morning runs. I should have stayed so we could have met! Darn! How did your skills day go? I heard you guys down there! It sounded fun!
Skills day was amazing! really enjoyed it. The open sessions of autocross at the end were my absolute fav and I might be addicted. I now have lots of cone rash to buff out lol :-)

Jody it was nice to see you out there again! You found out more HP & less traction (wet) don't mix. Did you get your license plate back on?
Hopefully you will be out more next year!
FWIW, it was a hard track, I had a very hard time out there as well. I screwed my self for the year, going from 2nd place to 4th for the year.
Managed a 53.1, but nailed a cone! I almost spun twice in my first run.

Thanks very much! I'm appreciative of the instructors as well as my friends and the shops that support me and my racing. It's awesome!
I can't wait to get out there and do some more hillclimbs, autocross, and open road challenges next year!
