My sister found a 2007 MINI there at Paramount Motors that she really likes. I checked out the car today and it’s very well taken care of only 20K miles not bad at all. They are asking for 17900 I offered 17 they won’t take it and don’t want to move a cent. Anyone on here know someone that might work out a deal?

 

They are a little stubborn on pricing. We got our Cayenne from them. Beware though. They deal with leased vehicles and the car fax isn't always accurate.. Took us a while to find out but we found out our Cayenne had been in an accident that wasn't annotated on the Carfax and we paid a little more than a couple of dollars to get some electronics sorted out. They aren't shady at all but just throwing that out there.

 

Thanks, that’s good to know. I’m thinking really hard about pulling the trigger on this one because something just seems off. It has a few too many problems for a car that only has 20k miles. The sunroofs don’t open up all the way the arm rest is broken the rear seat seems to be stuck and it also has some over spray on the front bumper. I get that the car is still under warranty for a few more months but why wouldn’t they just take the car in and get the warranty work done them self’s.

The overspray makes me think accident fast...

 

^ That’s what I was thinking at first because the over spray is yellow and really close to the color of the car. But there aren’t any marks, dents or anything for that matter making me think accident. I think it was just parked at wrong place at the wrong time. They ended up taking 200 off the asking so my sister got herself a cool little mini yesterday. It’s a really fun little car to drive for only having 118hp.

 

I was going to add that if you have doubts like that, I'd pass and move on looking elsewhere. Sounds like she already got the car though. MINI's are awesome little cars. Send her over to the PSMINI site. There are quite a few activities coming up that she might want to join in....

After test driving it yesterday and them dropping a few hundred it wasn’t possible to walk away from it. We had been looking everywhere for Coopers with the options this one has and they are not out there. I think after a good detail this car will look like new and runs like a champ/go-kart. I’ll send her over to that site so she can have some fun with the car this summer.
