To the OP good job on reporting the porter driving the car that irresponsibly. I have found over the years that if you really care about the condition of your paint , instruct the dealer to NEVER wash your car for any reason.

I am sorry you have those issues. It shames me that he shares the same name with me and shames and dis-honors my family name and years of outstanding business practice.

As much as it pains me, he is the Black Sheep of the family. I have not dealt or spoke with him in years...and would advise anyone to stay clear of him and his business.

He choose to do the same business I do and I am constantly having to clean up my name and company after him..after all HOW many "Cats" are in the Alarm business.

He is truly a disgrace to me, my family name and the industry I have made my life long work.

Please accept my apologys from my family name.

Roy - thanks for the clarification. I apologize for bringing it up. Given your sterling reputation I was sure it couldn't be you but as you said - how many "Cats" could be in the alarm business?

Apology appreciated but not necessary from you. We are all adults here and make our own decisions. It seems your brother has made some very bad ones.

Roy, you talk a lot about quality of services and guarantees but from my experience it's just talk.

I paid you $2k to bring a Gallardo up to me from California, your guys broke off the drivers side mirror during transport which put obvious rub marks on the door and mirror as it slid back and forth in the trailor. On delivery you promised to pay for any repairs necessary to fix the mirror which Josh the Lambo service guy and my wife witnessed. The when you found out it would need to be replaced you flat out refused to pay for the replacement because it would wipe out most of the profit. The mirror is still just glued in with epoxy if you would like to make good on your word.

I already paid someone to buff out what they could of the rub marks.

I am always happy to have persons share their experiance with me and my company in public, I have nothing to hide.

HOWEVER...lets get the record correct. Please tell me if I am WRONG?

I am not sure if I have this correct, but if it is the Yellow Gallardo that came from the older gentelman in Beverly Hills California to you..lets get the story correct.

You contacted me to locate a car for you. I was not very sucessful in locating a car for you in the price range you wanted to remain in. You were in a bit of a hurry as your newly found company had been doing well, you had extra cash and just moved into a new home on the Eastside..and most important the wife gave you permission to aquire a toy..if I recall correctly for your 25th birthday.

You then started sending me links of cars you located "yourself" on numerous outlets, some right off the bat I advised against. You located the Yellow one from autotrader.com and forwarded it to me. I provided you with the info and the service records the seller provided me that had work done on the car recently in Lamborghini Beverly Hills. I ADVISED you to get a PPI, you elected NOT to forgo the exspense as you felt safe with the records and the description the owner provided us, (we knew one wheel had curb rash per his description as well as the clutch was on its last leg and would need replacing soon) and you asked me to "broker" the deal for you. I charged you a FLAT $2K to broker and do the paperwork for you, as like in a house escrow company. I advised you this car DID NOT carry my "Exclusive Cats warranty" as I was NOT selling you the car, just brokering it for you.

I further assited you in aquiring transport...you paid for the transport seperate and direct. I do not own the transport company. To be frank with you, I dont recall what the transport fee was, (but I can check my records). I also know for a fact it was not damaged by the transport company. When they picked it up they noted the damage on the car and the "loose" mirrior as well. You were advised of that, we as well as you, attempted to contact the seller multiple times about this un-disclosed damage..he failed to return calls. Hence the importance of a PPI.

When the car arrived, you requested it go directly to Lamborghini Bellevue, I was present when the car was unloaded and you came a bit after that to take delivery and I was there to intrudce you to Josh and his service Dept that would do future work on your car.

I do recall the driver side mirrior was "loose" from its housing, it was not hangin or dangling. I am sure Josh's records will show this as well. I dont recall any "scuff" marks or paint issues. I DID advise you that out of concern as a "customer" I would take care of the dmage to the mirror....only becuase Josh had already looked at it prior to your arrivial and told me it would be a new braket and rubber seal to keep the mirrior on as it should and the mirror operation was not damaged.

You and your wife were present when we showed this damage to you and advised that Josh would fix it and I would pay the bill. Which he did and I did as well. After a bit, repair by Josh, while I was present, you were happy and loved the car and drove away with it from the shop. I recall Josh even telling you that the clutch was good for now, just drive it till it goes out and replace it then. Most people here now Josh and that he does not have people fix and repair stuff for un-wanted money. I dont know what happened with the clutch down the road, I seem to recall that Josh fixed it for you a few months later at your exspense BUT AT my Dealer discount price...which he did not have to do.

I never heard from you after wards saying the mirrior needing full replacement or that you were un-happy with the outcome. I dont remember any e-mail or any conversation of any thing with your un-happy experiance with me.

As a matter of fact, wierd, but last year near the end of Exotics at Redmond Town Center, you were present with your car and was talking to me about trade in and moving up to a newer year car..and asked what I thought your car was worth at this time for trade in. Is there any reason you did not mention your issue with me at that time? And why would you want to trade up and in with me if your experiance was so poor?

To summarize...I am sorry if you have an issue with your mirrior now..I am more than happy to set a time to meet with you and Josh, the Lamborghini certified service person at their shop and take a look at the mirrior. I will be happy to take Josh, an independant persons, assesment as to what, if anything needs to be done to correct it and cover it. It may have become worse from wear and tear from the last almost 2 years, I dont know. I can tell you I seriously have reserves that it is on the side of your car merley being held on by "epoxy".....

Thank you Roy Cats

I will correct you where you are wrong as requested:

1. There was no damage present and no rub marks in the pictures that you sent me right before the car was shipped. Show me where you indicated damage to the mirror? Find that email and send it to me.

2. You rubbed the rub marks with your hand more than once while you were indicating that you would pay to fix the mirror. You might not remember the scuff marks, but they were there and pretty obvious.

3. Your memory is not serving you correctly on any of the details. I've had my company for 7 years, it's not new. It was not for my birthday, and I'm not 25 nor was I at the time I got the car.

4. Your memory is incorrect again. My clutch still has not been replaced and it's fine.

5. I want to quote what you said in the last post: roytoy2003: "I never heard from you after wards saying the mirrior needing full replacement or that you were un-happy with the outcome." <--- The email below is proof that you definitely knew the mirror needed replacement.

Here is an email you sent me 5/14/2010 9:02 AM:

I received your extra key in the mail today...do you want me to mail it to you..?

If so the location you want me to send it to...or I will be at cars and coffee tomorrow morning in Redmond and can bring it with me..as well..

Also Josh told me about the mirror, said he is going to swing by and take a look at it..I don't mind helping you out a bit on it but the car was a brokered car so I only made my $1500.00 broker fee..it was not a Cats car covered under my sell and warranty. Josh says he thinks it is about $1800 for the mirror, plus paint and labor..of course I can not cover that.

Let me know your thoughts.

The mirror fell off the car 2-3 days after I took delivery. Literally fell completely off attached only by wire. You said you would fix it then went back on that commitment after you realized the cost of the fix. There is no denying the email.

Thank you for your response and taking the time out of your busy day to post here. I am sure some of my re-collections can be foggy, but I do recall you saying you "just moved into a new house and it was a present to yourself for your company doing so well"..is my memory totaly off on this...you know your age, so I am sure you are correct on that..but I could swear it was your birthday coming soon..how old are you..?

Did you NOT locate the car and send me the link of the car..you had all information and all pics that I had as you found the car not me?

Did you not elect to not get a PPI at my suggestion since the car had recent service records?

I dont recall any scuff marks, but if you say so I take your word on it.

SO I am not sure which is correct now. In your first post you say the mirror was damaged in shipping? But this post you say it fell off 2-3 days after you had the car? Which was it? I recall it being quite loose from the bracket housing when it arrived...had never been fallen off as I recall. Josh did in fact put a new bracket on it and secured it PRIOR to you leaving his shop that day. I never saw or think that Josh just "put expoxy" on it.

You have jogged my memory, and I appreciate it. I do now recall you telling me a few days after you had the car that the mirrior had fallen off...maybe this is when it got the "scuffs" you speak of. I do recall paying Josh to swing by your house and view his repair if it was wrong or right, he just did it a few days prior. I dont recall, (but I will call and ask him) why in this trip a answer to replace it came about.

I can say from this review, and I will have more after I get in my office and pull your file, that by your own words, "I brokered this deal" AND advised you that is was not covered by my warranty as it was not my car. I am still sorry for your issue...but I think it is pretty clear the issue was not mine to cover and a PPI as I suggested may and probably would have discovered this issue prior to your purchase of this car.

I think it went the extra mile to be presnt at delivery, have Josh fix the loose mirrior and AGAIN to come to your home on my dime to see it after a few days in service. To be quite frank with you, how do I or anyone else know that the "fallen of mirrior" after 3 days was not due to your neglegence and was hopeing I would still fix it. What if it was 3 months later...would you still think I am responsible for a "brokered car" that you neglecgted to get a PPI on?

As far as my service to you in the brokering of the car, getting it here, getting it titled and licensed, getting your title to you, getting it delivered at location of your choice....did I follow through with all of this and made sure you even got the extra key from the private seller that was less than cooparative with us after the sell?

As a bad taste in a customers mouth ruins a thousand "atta boys" and to make you fell whole again...I will be happy to pay for the repairs up to 50% $750.00...EVEN with my thoughts that I should not have to...

Let me know when you would like to schedule the work and get it schedulded at Lambofghini Bellevue for the repair.

Thanks Roy Cats

**UPDATE** First, I welcome any and all comments to help me with the service of a customer and any possible future customers., bad or good or in be-tween...

I got into my ofice this AM and pulled the records in regards to this car. There WAS a PPI perfromed on it by Lamborghini Beverly Hills at the cost of $400 to the buyer.. I have attached copys of the warranty issue as well as the listing of things wrong with the car and the contract clearly stating ..no warranty bought as is...so comments are welcome...appears Lamborghini Beverly Hills missed the loose mirrior. I have also included my e-mail exchange with the buyer on this.

This is what I wrote after the PPI was complete at LBH:

Well again, price so low due to issues with a car. I just spoke with the Lambo Beverly Hills Service Manager. He had the car already at the store and was able to start the PPI right away...he is still working on it..but right off the bat..the things they can check with the computer he has already done..

1) needs new clutch, less than 6% left (cost $6k again)

2) throw out bearing needs to be replaced ($2900.00)

3) needs 4 new tires ($1850.00)

Then e-mail confirming delivery date of 4-29-2010

FYI, looks like Kevin is coming straight up so we can get the car to you sooner..looking like maybe 3:30-4:00pm today at the Bellevue Servcie Center,..does that work for you to meet us me there then..?

E-Mail from you 4 days after recieving the car...still nothing about a problem with the mirrior

Hey Roy,

The manual is there. Let me know when the key comes in.

The car is awesome! I am having a BLAST! This is a dream come true. I just wish the Exotics @ Redmond Town Center wasn't cancelled today haha!

Aaron

And the LAST e-mail I show from you on May 11th, 15 days after delivery of the car..and still no word on an issue with the mirrior..?

Still loving the car. Do you know of any local groups that do occasional fun-drives?

Aaron

I am truly at a loss here was is correct and what is not...I will leave this issue up to seeing the suggestions we get from the customer base out here in the public forums..??

I will keep this one short.

I don't see the point of my emails that you posted. I was working with Josh to see what kind of fixes needed to be done on the mirror. On May 14 (after my emails) you admitted to knowing the mirror needed to be replaced and declined to replace it because of cost. You indiciated in that email and admitted in previous posts that you said you would fix the mirror at your expense.

Now you are telling me that you will live up to that commitment only if there is enough public pressure for you to do so. There shouldn't need to be a public outcry for you to live up to your word.

Well to save you face..as you refuse to answer all the questions..yes you are correct..I will not cover any part of this Mirrior issue as it is not my issue and you signed for the car as it and it was..I guess my offer, STILL after almost a year... of agreeing to pay half of the repair is not good enough for you...so I am not covering anything on this car.

It does convince me AGAIN, that you get what you pay for...this car was vastly underpriced for its year and miles..and probably should have been a red flag..as I noted to you in my e-mails and recomendations. BUT it was your chice and YOUR decision...

So with getting bashed in the face with your feeling of in-complete service..I will let you defer your future purchase to another broker and hopefully it will work out for you better.

Thanks

Roy Cats
