Apache1127 is infamous around these parts
I did not request this thread be re-opened. The moderator messaged me saying that it was disrespectful to the rest of the forum for us to bicker about this issue on a public forum. I messaged back saying I would stop if since he closed the thread.

Suddenly it's no longer disrespectful because the board sponsor (Roy) wants to re-open the thread. Who did you originally close the thread for? Roy or the members?

I reiterated my position. Pay for the mirror repair like you promised to or I will continue to let people know what you did. I will also bring a small claims lawsuit against you to recoup the costs. I have nothing to hide

Like I said in a previous post, I did call you after that email and you declined to pay for the cost of replacement.

Really though, what does the delay have to do with your responsibility to repair a damaged product? You keep referring to my silence after you declined to cover the damage and I don't see how that's relevant.

Aarron..this has now gone beyond "take care of you"..

First I think you should post your E-mail to me in its FULL threating length that you sent me after this thread closed..come on, lets have FULL disclosure..

Second..just answer me WHY, regardless of how it got to this point..WHY did you not contact me after my e-mail to you on May 14th that left the door open to diswcuss with the last comment from me "your thoughts"?

Third..why in 11 months you have never reached out to me with your feelings on this and attempt to resolve it the old fashion way..talking to the buck stops here guy

Fourth..why do you feel it so important NOW after 11 months of nothing to bring it with such staunch 100% all or nothing payment with such vendictavie vengence

Fifth...why did you not accept my offer as of this thread to pay 50 50 on the damage

Sixth..Do you truly believe a car you picked, against my advise, that I only brokered and assited in transport should be full guaranteed against defects..EVEN with you signing in two seperate places that the car was sold as is where as with no warrantys...

Seventh..are you saying that I knowingly with held information from you in regards to the condition of the car..or some how damaged it after I took possession of it and kept this from you

And just for the record..I have no ill feelings to you..I have my position and you have yours..such is life.

It is very very relevant...because, just for the sake of argument, say that call took place..I say it didnt..if you still felt you were wronged..whay not follow up with a letter, complaint to BBB, complain to the Dealer AUto Assoc..sue me in small claims court then...why wait 11 months to NOW come jumping out of the bushes and start with these threats of law suit and "make sure you trash my name"..as stated in your todays e-mail..

I am going to respond one by one:

1. I just did in my previous post. I will sue you and spread the word.

2. I did contact you, I called you, you were in the car at the time. I've said this a few times already

3. Refer to point 2.

4. Irrelevant to the issue at hand, it is a topic related to the thread though, bad experiences with dealers.

5. Because you promised to pay to fix it as you admitted in the beginning of this conversation. Why would I take 50% when you said you would pay to fix the mirror?

6. You failed to disclose any damage to the mirror despite the PPI and the fact that Kevin knew about the damage before the car was shipped. I was never notified. You promised to pay to fix it on delivery so I didn't worry about it at the time.

7. Knowingly or unknowingly you said you would fix the mirror and later went back on that commitment.

BBB is a private corporation, I don't know what the Auto Assoc is, small claims court is still an option !

I would still like to know why this thread was re-opened after being closed due to board sponsor's request? The reason for closure of the thread was because it was disrespectful to the community. Why would Roy's request change that?

it was opened so that final remarks could be made in public. I think that we have done that, and more at this point. I am going to close this thread now, since it has strayed so far from the original post.

cheers,
robb

Well we can sit here all night and go back and forth and not come to a solution as it appears we are both Palm Tree's in the sand at this point.

I dis-agree with your recolection of this sad incident and you dis-agree with mine.

I was once told by a Judge many years ago when I was a Police Officer that there is THREE sides to every story...

1) Yours

2) Mine

3) and the real one some where in the middle

So I guess we will let a Judge give us the answer to #3 in the future.

I have nothing to add that has not been covered already here. I welcome any and all comments, regardless of ther prespective from the public that has to make their own educated conclusions...or wait for outcome #3 down the road.

I am off to La Palmera for a little R and R..Josh you are welcome to meet me there and speak with me with one on one..or anyone else that wishes to come by.

Drinks and food are NOT on me..it is a Buy your own nite...

Good night all

Roy Cats
