Cars Needed For A TV Show



..."A television production company is producing a show for the Speed Channel. On Tuesday night they are filming a “Fast and Furious” style open for a show on racing and they’re in a jam, looking for fast, supped up cars that they can feature in a shoot. The shoot is THIS Tuesday night, as tomorrow – so there is not much notice. The drivers will get $100 for showing up. And, it will be in the Sandpoint neighborhood from dusk until dark."

The OP says "dusk til dark". There's a post on another board that says Magnuson Park (Kirkland) 8pm to 2am. Knowing a fair bit about how these things work, be prepared to sign a bevy of releases and not get paid until the shoot wraps - likely very late - and only if you're lucky enough to be used. i.e. don't be surprised if you're brought out, staged, and let go after waiting around a while.

But hey, Magnuson Park is a public park and it sounds like there might be an opportunity to lap it, so that would be VERY cool

 

If anyone actually goes to this, let us know what the name of the show is. I'd like to keep an eye out for it.
