Burger Brawl!!!
Burger Brawl!!!
Me and a buddy went to the Seattle Magazine's Burger Brawl at Pier 66 earlier tonight and they featured burger sliders from all the best burgers in the Seattle area. Let me tell you that after the two of us were done, we were absolutely stuffed! We both needed to be "rolled" home afterwards. I ate about 16 sliders in all but only finished the really good ones and took bites out of the ones that I thought were mediocre at best. It was a good event!

Ready for some chow!

We both had just come straight there from Crossfit where we made sure to workout twice as hard as usual in preparation for this!

This one was okay...

An improvement with a sweet tangy BBQ like sauce

What we looked like as we sampled burgers from each

We'd made our way through about 10 different booths before we struck "gold!!!"

Simply the best with juicy flavorful beef patties that had just the right amount of "crisp" and "meaty flavor"

They had Tim's potato chips but we didn't even bother trying any because we were so full

This one was from Zippy's which had previously been voted Seattle's #1 burger. Traditional style

This one was good but lacked the "punch" of some of our favorites. Their regular burger is $20 and quite huge!

This one had lots of flavor

Everyone was well prepared to make plenty of samples for us all. This one from the Skillet had the longest line but I didn't think it was that good.

Quinn's was both our second favorite because it was the juiciest of the lot

I definitely LOVE beef...and at this point I was so full!

Yummy!

They had 4 diferent flavors, one was triple chocolate, snickerdoodle, stout (yes, BEER flavored) and mocha. My favorite was the snickerdoodle.

The BBQ flavored one from the Skillet

Yum!

I washed it down with some dry vanilla soda which was surprisingly good

So full, so full!

We still wanted more but our stomach wasn't willing

This was my least favorite...the mushroom made it surprisingly taste plain compared to the others
