I'm definitely in. Would be more free in Sept though and would think we'd need to put a 3-4 week notice to get a decent turn out.

2nd or 3rd week is likely best. Too many people will have family plans for the holiday weekend...

Couldn't resist... Took the afternoon off and went for a spin up to the North Cascades Hiway. A perfect day for a cruise, and the traffic was very light once past Snohomish... Strongly suggest this to anyone close by...

Saturday drive

left at 2am Saturday morning for Mt Hood, OR, took the scenic route started going east on I90 to Ellensburg then 82 to Toppenish, 97 to the Columbia River, some great views of Mt Adams on that road, then 84 to Rowena, where we took a detour to the Rowena Curves on the old Columbia River Highway, that is an amazing road the attached pictures are
from there, there were some bicyclists on the road which you have to look out for they like to take most of the road for them. back on 84 to Hood River, where we went south on 35 to Mt Hood, which is a nice road to drive on too. there we went up Cooper Spur road and a 11 mile gravel road to Cloud Cap, that road has some deep dips where the water runs off. On the way back we stopped at the Timberline lodge, we took the faster way back on I5. It was a nice road trip.
