H&R Wanderlust Mt. Baker drive 8/25/12
Bellingham to Mt. Baker Drive sponsored by H&R Springs.

I've done this drive the last couple years as have a few other people on here. It's a great drive up to the ski area at Mt. Baker. Artist point is open up this year as well so after the meet you can continue all the way to the top.

Hey otoppero/chris, I tried to message back but I guess I don't have enough posts send messages...
Looks like I'm a no-go for this drive.
I have a wedding that day which will take more time then I thought.
I still might try to make it to Exotics @ RTC in the morning if possible, tho!

Well I know now that I already know you, "WAVE". I thought that it was very funny (K.B.)
CKP, It is all good. Just wanted to see if you wanted to meet before the meet. Comcast and Sprint's service both went down on me shortly after that message so I could not respond in time, sorry. Did you end up going? It was a pretty good event sans bicycles near the summit.

Pictures from Saturday
Here are a couple of pictures form Saturday's Mt Baker drive,
yes there were a lot of bicyles, I especially liked the peleton,
they were riding four wide through the best part close to the top.
It was still a nice drive, after hiking, about 7pm on the way down
there was almost no traffic and no bicyles, I was following an Audi
TT with an older couple in it, for an "old" man he sure was driving spirited

Now I wish I had detailed my Porsche before I came out...she looks a little dirty. Thanks for posting the pictures btw.
We set off after most of the group left as well. A lot faster going down as well. Thanks to G-Man, Merrik and Daniel for coming out too. Bigger thanks to H&R for hosting the event, providing food beverages and prizes too. I had a great time and will definitely go again.
