Update.

Due to the probable inclement weather we have had a “wave” of cancellations, nearly 50% which has caused us to cancel the Rally. We are still going to be at Long Island Lamborghini / Bentley for the Lamborghini Road Show to promote Exotics Rally. Furthermore we will be planning the 2 Day Event for the Spring and having more single day events until that time.

Please join us 10/19 @ Lamborghini Long Island for the Road Show. We will be there from 9am – 3pm. Of course the Ariel Atom will be there and if by chance the weather is good it will be blasting around. It will be an awesome time, food, drinks, test driving the Superleggera and much more. The sponsors will also be on hand....

Why don't you guy's join us and do something with that rally other then making it another parked car show on long island.

Why not use that rally to join with us in the fight to have a facility that you might one day have to use the car for what it is intended for.

Weather doesn't effect us or our vehicles, we come out and fight for a track in 10 degree weather as some of you seen 2000 of us at captree with our vehicles and other areas.

We have enough come and park and looooooook at the parked car shows on long island, how about we get back to using the cars for what there built for.

Then think about your sponsors and they'll have a facility to show off there vehicle and hold shows and other driving experiences...or does everyone really love parking lots and looking at parked cars?

I rather attend car shows at tracks where there is use of vehicles, wouldn't you? ?

 

I'm somewhat confused as to what you're promoting.
You already have a racetrack? are you trying to creat more "park you car" shows to generate interest for a racetrack? how will that work? you're just changing one parking lot with another.

Btw, just for your information, this event and all the other ones I do are not "park your car" events. The one and only time I went to OBI this summer was about 4 months ago, and we pulled in with 10 Lamborghinis, stayed for 20 mints, saw how boring it was and took off to drive.
The event this thread is about is a Rally. Its a driving event.

For all I can see from your multiple self promoting posts on all the threads in this section you're trying to promote your forum and hoping to get members from here.

Hovik are you saying you have no knowledge of what we are about and what is going on for Long Island right now pertaining to the epcal proposals.

We are fighting for motorsports, we do not want to take your members from here we want the entire motorsports community on board with what is going on, so rather then have a car show/rally not supporting a motorsports park why not put that event with it's effort to suport or theme it that way.

We have no interest in being a Lamborghinis , Ferrari, Porsche, ect forum.

We are just a association that fights for what we all want, a place to use our vehicles for what they do best, road course, oval , contest of speed lanes, karting ect.

Do i need people involved with motorsports like owners of lamborghinis, ferrari, ect...yes, do i want to have your forum make up there, no

Just make people aware of what's going on and have them check it here and there during the week, remember the bigger the group is fighting for it the better chance we have..

Wouldn't you guy's enjoy a place close by to play and enjoy your car, if we get what we want there will be a motorsports club house, i want to hang out at a motorsports club house, not a golf club house.

Yesterday the billboard truck was on the way out to the event and a lambo and ferrari went by the truck, 1 hit the horn and the other waved in support, another went by us at the event we had on 58, a black lambo.

We have been doing this for 5 years, however i find everyday that more people are not informed of whats going on.
We are doing another at speedworld fx this sunday at 10am

 

I missed this.. No, we have a 1/4 mile oval, out of our heritage and motorsports history on long island it is all we have left.
At one point we had 45+ tracks on long island, we now have one single facility left, we no longer have bridgehampton, national, hamptons or islip and freeport that some of you may remember, the others most people have no idea about.
Long island is where racing and motorsports started, our history is being stripped from us, what we are fighting for now is a motorsports facility, the builder is with us, we unfortunately have a TB in riverhead that can't see what people want.
So we have been fighting with them for some months now, elections are coming up and we are pushing for the right people that do see what the people want.

If the right people get elected in i can relax, if the wrong people get elected in i have to rely on the motorsports family to join together to show them we aren't going to walk away anymore like we have done in the past.

Did any of you know of the yaphank fight?
