Trailer rental?

Anyone have any experience in renting a car trailer? I'm thinking I may try to save the 1100 round trip miles to VIR on the Porsche and instead pull a trailer with a buddy's Range Rover. Presumably U-Haul but perhaps you guys have some other (better) ideas. TIA.

chaz704 is infamous around these parts
This is useful information for me as well. I just moved back to NY from NC, and I need to get my Lotus up here. 12 hours in that car is torture. It was fun when I bought it, but now I am good for maybe 3 hours.

try talking to people in the track forum and borrowing a trailer. uhaul trailers are ridiculously heavy and tend not to like lowered or sports cars.

horseless carriage is the very best transport company. but another good one for more reasonable pricing is intercity lines.
