This is a trek we should do through Bear Mountain. I did something like this in March 2013 with the 991 forum. This is not my video. Just an example.

Met at stateline lookout (NY/NJ) off Palisades and went to Bear Mountain, over bridge and down through Westchester. The ride along the stone guardrail was great and the view of the Hudson was even better. You need to meet early to avoid traffic. You will see a lot of car clubs doing it.

 

The NJ drive starts way far too West and South. This can be an alternative to meet up with them. Not sure if they are heading to Bear.

 

Agree - I believe there is a PCA Auto Cross event, Sunday, November 3rd, on Long Island - Not sure if it is at Tobay or Nassau Coliseum.. I am trying to find out. Or we can try for this weekend. Jeff

I am around Sunday morning. The NJ trek has 20 cars and is going to Hawks Nest. No where's near Bear Mountain (Western NJ).

 

Im down for a LI meet on a sunday i cant do the trek to nj got the wife and kids i can only dip out for a few hours

 

Good enough. I was going to OBI at 7:00AM but it is all American Muscle. It was nice to open it up over the bridges. My sport exhaust can't compare. You coming from NYC?

 

Im in merrick i went to obi a few times it started turning into a chevy ford party so i didnt bother to go anymore. There was a few porsche cars though.
