Wondering if the 6speed group meets up on long island at all?

 

Alot of cars out in captree sunday mornings starts getting packed at 7am!

 

Yea I know about that one, I was out there a few weekends ago taking photos with a big monopod lol. I had the all blacked out range rover sport. I will be back out there two sundays from now.

 

Up to what time is the captree meet? I start working on Sundays soon...

 

i got there at 930 and it was still packed out..........I left around 1045-11 and still alot of cars. Not sure what time it goes until though.....

 

I start my new job on oct. 21 so I'm free the next two Sundays. I just got a d600 so I want to take tons of pics!

 

I do photography out there with my canon 60D and about 3-4 different lens's. Everything from 8mm to 70-300mm with a big monopod. You will see me out there in 2 sundays, not this one but the next.

 

Just be very careful with the speed.

Troopers have been writing a lot of tickets- speeding, excessive noise(bikes), no front plate, illegal start.

They have really put a damp on this gathering.

 

Picked up my first Porsche a week ago. This is the most amazing car I have ever owned!

I went to the Auto Cross at Tobay on Sunday - Very cool. Met quite a few good guys. There is another one November 3rd, that I may check out - Not sure if it is at Tobay or Nassau Coliseum. Look forward to meeting you LIers in the near future...

 

I havent done captree in a while but in the summer i remember the lot being dull at like 730am people stay for a while then split. Maybe we can get some porsche guys to meet somewhere
