RR Silver Spur

anyone familiar with it?

I just got a 98 Silver Spur for a really low price.... anything I can do with it? or any major problems with it?

I have no idea if I should drive it or what... its so out of date.... or i should modernize it and mod it up a bit.... VIP style or something...

any suggestions?

I wouldnt touch it. Anything you do will only make it that much harder to sell down the road. The 98 shouldnt be too out of date besides the stereo. The car is basically like a limo. Its huge, and drives likes it floating down the road. Id just leave it as is. I believe the 98's were the final year for those as well! Post some pics.

I actually got it for free... the car isnt worth anything, used price is less then a 98 Accord here in HK.... and there are no market for it... people looking in this price range could never afford to run a RR... LOL the rich people would not want an old RR like this cuz it would look like they can't afford the newer ones....

the owner got fed up trying to sell it and it was taking up his more precious parking spot. The car have less then 20k KM and its still in mint condition.

i believe its the last ones with V8 before RR went with the BMW V12. The car do look quite outdated, and tbh, its too huge to drive on the road.

I saw a few Phantom conversions.... But i'm never a fan of conversion...but at the same time 99% of the people wont be able to tell the difference between the Silver Spur converted Phantom and real phantom....

If you pay for shipping, I don't mind getting rid of it LOL

but its in HK and its RHD.... I wonder if any 3rd world countries will buy it....

I seriously don't want to drive it, I'd look like a chauffeur! But I bet it'd look awesome rolling in it to the club or something LOL

The interior of the car is still mint, just the exterior is absolutely ugly to look at. I found some pictures of a Phantom conversion.... it seems to look pretty good after converting

Here are what some of the plans I have in mind so far.
Full Phantom conversion using OEM taillights, headlights painted in Porsche's Basalt Black Metallic
Suicide rear doors (best if I could get it motorized)
Custom fit a beverage cooler
Custom fit a glass holder on the rear deck in real wood
Fiber Optics "Starlight" roof lining
Upgraded brakes, either AMG 8pot or some AP 4pot (tons available in junk yard lol)
Complete upgrade audio system

Not mine, but this is how it would look like after conversion....
