My new '10 Spectrum Blue XKR
Here it is guys. All options ticked.
Exterior - Spectrum Blue metallic
Interior - Ivory interior with Oyster Dashboard and Ivory stitching and lined oak veneer.
Welcome 510 Horses and 625 Nm of torque
Took delivery this morning and it is a crazy machine. 0 - 100 in 4.6 seconds is what is officially claimed by jag but i wouldnt be surprised if its faster. This car is pure class.
Proper pictures coming soon.

Here are the pictures.
And about the wheels, are you kidding? I'd never trade these 20" Nevis monsters for anything on this car.

Very nice. This car is really growing on me. I prefer the front facia of the 2007-2009 with the fog light but it's still a sweet ride.
Looks good with those stock 20's but if I get one, it's getting new wheels.

Now that's an absolutely stunning car! I love it and now I want one real bad. I'm a huge fan of B&W speakers (in my home theater and ipod dock), and I know that is an option for these cars as well.
Enjoy it for the rest of us.

But the child in me took over and yesterday I put a deposit down on one of the XKR175 75th Anniversary Edition Coupes. I cross-shopped all of the competition and the XKR delivers on everything I want in a fast, luxurious coupe, and manages to be something of a bargain in the process. Its quicker than the Aston or Maserati, more comfortable than the 911S, more fun than an SL, and less expensive than any of them. Add in decent fuel economy and 5 years of free maintenance (even pads and rotors) and it seemed like a no-brainer.
I test drove an XKR when the current design came out and while it was nice, it just didn't seem like "me." But when I tried the new model with 510hp and other improvements, I was just blown away. Now I just have to wait a couple months for it to arrive.

Count me in as a new member of the XKR club. There are great deals on 2010s...big discounts and I was offered the same warranty as a CPO (2 more years and 50K more than the regular new car warranty...but not the 5 year free maintenance that the 2011s have). It was hard to pass up the deal on the '10.

I was at the dealership today looking over the inventory.
XK or XKR?
We car guys love power but I'm a little afraid of all the heat made by FI. The 385 hp of the XK is plenty but 510 for the R is just intoxicating.
