I don't think anyone would pay $30k for 40HP. There is a LOT more to this car than just a 40HP difference.

Good point. I guess what I meant is that the XKR is enough for me and I really couldn't justify the additional expense of an XKR-S. I really do prefer the look of the XKR in the 2011 model anyway.

exclusivity, mainly, its just like anything else, probably only a limited amount, anyone know how many will be made? Great information though, subs'd

The XKR-S looks totally bad ***! That said, I agree with the above poster in that the 2010-2011 XKR's look better, sportier, and more aggressive than the 2012's. What's up with that, Jaguar?
