I <3 F-Type!
Jaguar has finally done it! Over the last few years I've been following the evolution of Jaguar, first at Ford than at TaTa. I believe that the name has been garnering more and more interest as the improvements have continued. I had high hopes when TaTa took over the brand. Unlike Ford they were unhindered by a lack of creativity and I was sure that one day something special would happen and then it did. Behold the F-Type! This has to be one of the most beautiful cars I have ever laid eyes on (Maserati GT is now second).
I’ve grown tired of the same ole BMW, Audi, Benz recycled vanilla. Yeah they have nice cars but I want something inspired. There is not much on the net yet since it’s not for sale. I just wanted to see if anyone else had similar thoughts. I’ve posted a few links below.

That probably explains why I'm fond of it then... ;D
Both my wife and I like it. IMHO a very exciting step for Jaguar, and I would agree that Tata's purchase is a plus- perhaps the best thing to happen to the Jaguar brand in a few decades.
Just as an update I recently saw this car in person. I attended the Jaguar ALIVE Driving Experience in Charlotte, NC about two weeks ago. It was a really cool event and they happened to have the F-Type on the floor for show. Unfortunately it wasn't there for driving.
The fit and finish was excellent. What I remember most about the car is the seating position. You really sit deep into that car. Kind of reminds me of the Corvette Stingray to be honest since you can't see the hood (from my recollection).
They also had a display of their new Meridian Sound System. They played music at first with the Meridian off. Sounded really good but when they turned on the effect it was like hearing music for the first time. The improvement was impressive to say the least.
