I absolutely love this car.... The true meaning of the word "cool"!!!!

 

My dad used to drive a datsun 710 sky blue. We used to fit 12 people in that car and hauled it to redondo beach. Thanks for posting. Brings back memories. Absolutely stunning automobile btw.

Got a good deal on ebay on the Haltech ECU. Will install this summer sometime. I'm hoping to get my wheels in the next couple of weeks. There's a big Datsun meet up here in mid June so I'd like to have them installed for that. The new flares use the same rivet holes the old flares use so it should be a relatively easy install.

I received my copy of the book. I like what they did with the layout and pix. Some cool wagons in there.

Installed the Haltech and had Jason at PSI here in the Portland area tune it for pump gas. Final results were 426 rwhp and 378 torque uncorrected and 403 rwhp and 357 torque sae corrected. Also had it scaled. Right about 2700 lbs and close to 50/50 weight distribution. Happy with the results on a conservative/track day tune. Couple pix and the video

 

Love it!! This is one of my all time favorite builds.

 

Flares were wide enough at the top. Nowhere else, so pretty much redid the entire front flare except the mouting points. Still working on the rear of the fronts. Undecided. Ended up painting the wheels flat black. Silver pinstripe you can't see here. Instagram filters. Voila'
