Datsun 510 wagon, SupraTT engine

Not sure it's a "supercar" but...This is my '71 510 wagon with a 2jz-gte engine and single turbo upgrade. I previously had the 7m-gte from the MKIII Supra, but just finalized the install of the 2j this week.

Racing Hart C2 wheels. Some beat Pirelli P Zero Corsa's. Fresh Toyo R888's in the garage.

Mercedes shifter and console (modified to fit). Sweet cupholder in those Merc's. Nardi Twin wheel, custom dash.

Turbo has the compressor wheel from a Garrett GT35R, but it's non-ball bearing. Custom manifolds (nothing fits stock or aftermarket). Radiator? It's in the rear...

"Olive drab" I think they call it. But yeah, army green is what I use to describe it too. It's a wrap....j/k. When you start with an 800.00 platform instead of an 180,000.00 platform going with actual flat paint is an easy decision.

I run it on pump gas only. The 7m-gte ran 398 rwhp on 91 octane and a conservative timing curve. The 2j should give me a bit more with minimal changes. I use it for track days, but also drive it on the street. I've taken a trip to California pretty much every year since 1994. San Jose the last few years which is 600+ miles each way. Been to Thunderhill 4 or 5 times for track days and PIR up here more times than I remember. Can't keep up with some of the crazy cars on this site, but at under 2600 lbs it scoots.

Thanks for the comments. Now that it's together I just need some shakedown miles on it, then to the track. There's a date in early August at PIR I'm shooting for. Couple more pix.

Corvette C5 rotors (Baer 2 piece upgrade), with first gen Dodge Viper calipers on a 280zx strut with coilovers.
