Anyone have/driven a 2011 Subaru STi sedan yet?

My car ADD has kicked in again and am looking to get rid of the A4 Avant and jump into something fun for a DD. Test drove the '11 STi sedan last weekend. It ain't no 997TT, but def more entertaining than the Audi. Some are torn on the looks. Some hate the wing. I happen to like it. But then again, I apparently have an affinity to big wings Better lines than the previous gen, IMO. Opinions/impressions welcome.

I've had 3 and loved everyone of them. I had a GR hatch (08) very fun, torquey and more refined than my 04 STI. Bulletproof drivetrain to boot.

I'm a little biased... hahaha...

While it's good to know the drivetrain is bulletproof, I honestly wouldn't plan on modding (much) it as it would be my DD.

Now, unfortunately, the only colors in town are a dark grey and 2 plasma blue's. Dark grey is a great color, but the car is optioned all wrong. One of the plasma's is perfect (alcantara seats, sunroof delete). But....I'm not sure I like that color. Looks more purple than blue. Kinda reminds me of BMW's Interlagos Blue, but just much more purple. As a color itself, it's kinda neat. But as a professional, driving that to work may look a bit silly.

it's going to look silly no matter what color it comes in

i love Subarus and have owned a few. my DD is a modded '05 STi and i love it. i traded it in for an SUV at one point, but missed it and bought it back 2 1/2 months later lol. i've come close to getting rid of it again a few times, but i'm never satisfied with anything else when comparing cost, fun, power, practicality, safety, blah blah blah. i can race it one day and throw my bikes on the roof the next and my dogs in the back seat after that. and rain or shine doesn't matter either.

i had a couple buddies of mine drive it about a week ago, now they're both looking into them hahaha

I own a 2011 sti Hatch and love it. Its my second subaru, but first STI. Lots of fun, solid car. Its also good as a daily driver. My opinion is bias as well since this is all i have owned. It pull pretty hard and handles pretty well. You get the best of both world really. I recommend it. They are reliable too.
