Well some may like it, but I prefer to fly under the radar, which just isn't possible in a G!

Peter, Below are a few initial photos--now that the supra and ttg are completed I've scheduled a photo shoot and will post up a thread.

Thanks Peter - its nothing compared to yours, but I refuse to run race fuel on any of our cars.

Still working on some final details such as finishing the blacking out on the G and actually considering tinting the front windshield 50%. May do the same blacking out to the Supra and trying to get the front lip right on the Supra. Then the photo shoot will come... In the meantime you've got my cell no.

Decision has FINALLY been made - going to sell the H/T Supra and the TTZ and fill the two spots with the TT P-car (if timing of sale allows) and a built GTR over this winter/spring.

BUT... I think in a case like this better advice is trying to help someone figure out what *they* want to do.

What *I* would do with your money is pretty irrelevant. What *you* want to do is what matters and, to me, it sounds like you'd prefer to let the Supra go. I think you're a mod minded guy and a bone stock car that is just kind of languishing isnt your thing.

Sell Supra, keep Z06, get 996, have fully modded stable, drive all of them as much as you can (prob not much )
Best advice I've seen in this thread. I personally would not want to hang on to a bone stock car that never gets driven. I want a car I can mod to my liking and actually drive.

I will never understand this mentality. Z06's are GREAT cars, no matter how many of them there are...rarity is over rated IMO. I actually like to drive and enjoy my cars and not overpay for parts and maintenance because of rarity.

The point the OP was making was that he doesnt use the Supra at all and doesnt feel any satisfaction from a car that sits doing nothing (I do "get" that). And "collectors cars" really are just losing money non-stop, so if you dont get pleasure out of owning it, it is pretty pointless to preserve a museum piece for someone else.

All of that said, he made a (surprising, IMO) decision and the 1000HP Z06 is going bye bye.

With that stable, I'd have unloaded the virgin Supra, the more I think about it. I like modded cars and putting a personal touch on cars. I also don't like feeling that if I drive the thing, it is somehow going to ruin it since the *only* real value the thing has is that it is a pristine original. There is already a beast Supra in that stable, and now there is a heavily modded 911 coming too. The little virgin Supra really stands out in that collection, IMO. Everything is a fire breathing monster heavily modded with time slips getting posted and then there is a Supra sitting doing pretty much nothing.

It isnt that far from Ferris Bueller (Cameron's dad with his Ferrari museum in the house) which sounded like it rubs the OP the wrong way. Maybe he'll change his mind
You think and feel the exact same way I do

Like I said, parking your money in a car that isn't tanking by 20% every year, or put it in a new Gallardo and lose 40% in 3 years.
VERY few cars are investments. A Supra is not one of those cars. He is loosing money on every car he owns. I'd take the Z06, Gallardo or modded 98 Supra over the 93 Supra anyday. I want a car I can drive and enjoy, and the Z06 does that better than the Supra garage ornament. Who cares how much money you are loosing with a car if it is your hobby and source of enjoyment?

Dont get me wrong the z06 is a beautiful, amazing car! But your supra is one of a kind!! Sell the z06 and if u ever are sad and miss it just go for a ride in the lambo lol
That don't have any car education? I would take a Z06 over a Supra any day. Oh wait, I did. Once again, rarity is overrated. I actually like DRIVING a car.

Why not loan it to a Museum? That way you can get it back in a while, no miles will be put on it, and it will clear up space.
