Panamera - real pics.
In fact the one depicted in the "teamspeed.com" photo is the turbo version (see front of car).
The "normal" V8 has a different front section.(see below)

From the B-pillar forward I like the Panamera but from the B-pillar back it is atrocious.
IMO the rear end looks like a fat old lady's ***.

the roofline looks hooooorible!!
the performance figures are great, the first 50% of the car looks great.. but the rest looks....
I am already looking forward to the second generation Panamera...
Hopefully Porsche listens, and make necessary changes.... also wish they use the new Audi TFSI 4.0 V8!

you guys probably don't know this but the consumer tax rate IN CHINA (an increasingly important market for porsche considering that the panamera will be unvielled in shanghai autoshow) is applied according to the size of the engine.
just last year september, the CT for cars with 3.0-4.0L engine increased from 15% to 25% and the CT for cars with 4.0L+ increased from 20% to 40%! the chances are, rate gap will probable get even bigger in the future.
considering Panamera 4S's direct competitor: audi S7 for example, it will have a 4.0L engine with around 400hp (around the same as porsche's 4.8L V8!). The S7 may be a few tenth of a second slower, but it will be around 30-35% cheaper than Panamera S, more fuel efficient, and a lot better looking exterior and interior!!
should porsche be worried even with the 50% share in VW?
is the porsche brand reall worth the 30-35% more $$$ + the horride roofline?
audi S7 vs Panamera 4S; Which one would you prefer?

That sucks
here is the explaination: http://www.panaoc.com/forums/why-panamera-has-t58.html
Aston Martin Rapide seems to have succeeded with less booty and more style in their 4-door

Really can't believe this design made it to production.
Imagine they must have done some kind of focus group and they probably chose not to listen to the feedback.
The rear is horrible

There is no good explanation of the Panamera's faulty aesthetics.
