Will Panamera be available with a 6 cylinder?

I'm looking for a new daily driver with good gas mileage and fun to drive and I think a 6 cylinder Panamera will fit the bill. Does anyone know for sure whether it will be available in a 6 cylinder version? I know the Panamera is coming out soon in an 8 cylinder with Turbo. Thanks in advance.

They are coming with a V6-Hybrid (and maybe also with a pure V6) soon after the V8 and TT:

They should put the Boxer 6 into the Panamera.... It will then be a real Porsche instead of a VW/Audi..... Who wants to drive in a Porsche that has a VW drivetrain? Not me....... If that is the case I will buy a VW.

That's what our local dealer told us as well.

Anyone know how Porsche can claim the 4s does 0-60 in .2 faster then the S.

Same Motor, Same Power, Same PDK.

But, the 4S is actually heavier.

Even Local dealer cannot figure that one out.

They say its the traction on the 4S that gives the edge over the S.

Still very strange, how a heavier car pulls faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

Specially since only 400hp.

If it was the turbo or had 500 + could understand tires lossing grip.

Must be somewhat shorter final drive ( more torque to spin all that extra hardware)
in which case 4S must have slightly lower top speed .
